Computer ProTECHtion Plan

NU-Telecom's TechTeam is here to support you and your technology needs!  Save money with NU-Telecom's ProTECHtion plan.  Get answers to your questions and the technical support you need to keep your computer equipment running smoothly.

The Computer ProTECHtion Plan includes the following:

• By Phone or In Store Support
  Give us a call or bring your computer to one of NU-Telecom's convenient locations.  A friendly member of our TechTeam will answer your questions and assist you with computer related issues.  The ProTECHtion Plan includes one hour of support monthly and covers one computer, one router/switch and one printer registered with NU-Telecom.
  TechTeam support hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am to 7:30pm and Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm.  Standard after-hours charges will apply and are not included in the free hour of support.
• Computer Tune-Up
  Keep your computer equipment running like new with a tune-up from NU-Telecom's TechTeam.  Our comprehensive tune-up includes removal of virus and spyware, memory upgrades, system reloads, updates, internal cleaning and more!  The ProTECHtion Plan includes one computer tune-up per year.
• Labor Discounts
  Whether we visit your home, or you bring your equipment to us, you'll receive a discount on your TechTeam labor charges.  NU-Telecom customers are eligible for a 20% Value Added discount.  These discounts apply to on-site visits and in-store repairs for one computer and one router/switch registered with NU-Telecom.

NU-Telecom customers also receive the following Value Added services:

• Priority Service Fee Waived
  If you require priority service, we'll waive the regular priority fee associated with this perk one time per year.  The plan includes one computer registered with NU-Telecom.
• Wire Maintenance
  NU-Telecom's Wire Maintenance is designed to protect you from maintenance visit charges.  If you experience trouble with your phone, Internet or Digital TV services and the technician makes a repair visit to your home to find the problem is in your inside wiring or jacks, there is no charge.  Wire Maintenance includes telephone wire, CAT5 cable and coaxial coverage.

• $9.95 per month (valued at over $850 per year)
• $14.95 per month (with On-Line File Backup service included)
• Options:
  • Add additional computers to the plan for $4.95 each per month
  • Add On-Line File Backup service to additional computers for $2.00 each per month
  • Add Malware bytes for $2.95 per computer per month

The Computer ProTECHtion Plan requires a one year commitment, which renews automatically.  30-day termination notice required.  Computer hardware must be registered with NU-Telecom to qualify for the plan.  Any new equipment or changes to equipment may require a new one year commitment.  NU-Telecom customers must subscribe to a minimum of one service including voice, Digital TV or Internet to be eligible for Value Added benefits.  Some restrictions may apply.
